Has you cancer care has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic? Hello everyone, BCAN is partnering with Daniela Wittmann, PhD, LMSW, from the University of Michigan, on a study to understand how cancer care has been affected by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. For many people, cancer treatment had to be delayed because of the risk of infection or because of the hospital had too many COVID-19 patients. Copy and paste this into your browser: https://umichumhs.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dbc3rfotA5lvrlH to take the survey from Dr. Wittmann and her team to answer questions about: • How delays in treatment were communicated to you • How you felt about it and how you think it might affect your cancer care overall. The study was approved by the University of Michigan Institutional Review Board (HUM00181420). You will get details and sign a consent form before you start the study. At the end of the survey, you will be asked whether the researchers could follow up to interview you. If you agree, you may get a call 2-3 weeks later for the interview. Not everyone who agrees to be interviewed will be contacted. • Your participation in this study is voluntary. Being part of this study will not affect your medical care or your relationship with your doctor, clinic, hospital or other healthcare providers. • Your name and telephone number and/or email address would be used to contact you with the survey and, if you agree, possibly for an interview later on. Your information won’t be shared with everyone else

With all due respect, I don’t think this survey applies to BCG patients; I started it and discovered that immunotherapy was not listed as one of the treatment choices.
